The BGHS School Song is set to the tune of the "Washington and Lee Swing", a ragtime classic that was written by the glee club at Washington and Lee University in Virginia. The words are based on the words of the Hawkeye fight song of the University of Iowa.
We're gonna fight, fight, fight for Garrigan!
We're gonna win, win, win this game!
We're gonna show those _____ they can't win
when they meet up with Garrigan!
