Bishop Garrigan coach Rob Meister coached and Golden Bear captain Tate Foertsch played for the small-school west team at the Iowa All-Star Baseball Series, which was held July 27 - 31. 

At the awar banquet Tate received the Gary & Sandy Nyhus Leadership ward, which was selected by the baseball coaches association after the finalists were interviewed. 

Tate also earned 1^st team Academic All-State, while Kayden Graves was 2^nd team Academic All-State.
