Bishop Garrigan High School has been a member of the North Central Conference since 1994.  Since joining, the Bears have dominated the conference in baseball, in spite of being the smallest school in the N.C.C.  In eleven years, the Bears have won seven
conference baseball titles and have been close to the top almost every season.

Coach Meister's Career Wins

By the end of the 2003 season, Coach Gene Meister had a record of 718 wins and 268 losses, combining his time at St. John's of Bancroft and Bishop Garrigan.  Mr. Meister ranked #9 on the all-time list for most wins by an Iowa coach and should move up that list in 2005.  Coach
Meister has led eight teams to state tournament appearances, ranking #4 among Iowa coaches in that category.
