Bishop Garrigan High School was a member of the
North Central Conference since 1994.
Since joining, the Bears dominated the conference in baseball, in spite of being the smallest
school in the N.C.C.
In 2012 they joined the Top of Iowa Conference, where they continued to
be one of the top baseball teams. |

Coach Meister's Career Wins |
|
By the time of his retirementy, Coach Gene Meister had a
record of 947 wins and 425 losses, combining his time at St. John's of
Bancroft and Bishop Garrigan.
Mr. Meister ranked #6 on the all-time
list for most wins by an Iowa coach.
He also led nine teams to state tournament appearances. |
